Atmosphera
Thinking up a project for Atmosphera, means above all thinking up a project that is accessible to a design player in France. My decision to work with Atmosphera was based on the desire to produce pieces that were manufactured in close proximity and with respect: the reading light is made in France, the vase by a glassmaker in Poland. This choice, which may seem simple, has been the driving force behind many changes and upheavals within the company. Atmosphera has had to call on a whole new methodology and ecosystem, and I'm delighted to have been able to bring about this necessary questioning, which has opened up a vast area of work.
Echapée quotidienne, sofa
We need to find the rituals that allow the experience to take root. So I like to make an appointment with a book, I plan it in advance, I book it in my diary as a real appointment, usually for two hours, and I savour this suspended time. It's always a rich, multi-faceted meeting: a meeting with an author, a meeting with values...
An escape to take care of your imagination and repair it. So I thought of the dream object to anchor this care in everyday life.
A sofa with a built-in reading chair.
It's the perfect space to superimpose on our daily lives: you can use it as a 3-seater sofa most of the time, and make it your own for reading, comfortably reclining without any transformation. It highlights the relationship between the imaginary book and the reader: there's a space where the book is easily accessible and within easy reach.
Double, vase
Bringing a little nature into the home, this vase offers two ways of presenting bouquets. One vase contains another. The main idea is to offer two different heights for presenting a bouquet.
